まず、iBooks Authorで電子書籍を制作します。
「公開」ボタンをクリックして「次へ」をクリックしていくと、iTunes Connectにサインインを求められます。
Apple IDでiTunes Connectにアクセスして、iBooks 用 iTunes Connectアカウントを作成します。
すると、次のようなメールが来ますので、Verifyします。
Dear 〇〇,
Your application to offer books on the iBooks Store has been approved. Verify your email address to request an agreement and deliver your books.
Regards,
The iBooks team
Verifyすると、iTunes Connectに入れるようになります。
iTunes Connectに入って、個人情報を入力しsubmitします。
すると、次のようなメールが来ます。
Dear 〇〇,
The Book contract you agreed to on iTunes Connect is attached for your records.
To submit books and receive the payments for your books offered on Apple Books, you must set up the contact, tax and banking information in Agreements, Tax, and Banking in iTunes Connect.
If you have any questions, email us.

さて、ここで躓きました。
Tax and banking informationを入力してsubmitしたのですが、いっこうにiTunes Producerにサインインができません。
そこで、先のメールの文末のemail usに次のようなメールを送りました。
I submitted my bank account and other information to iTunes Connect.but I still cannot sign in iTunes Producer.
I’d like you to tell me what I should do to publish my e-books.
I look forward to your reply.
返信が来ました。
Hello,
Please submit your request through the “Contact Us” module on iTunesConnect.com.
Best,

しかし、iTunesConnect.comにアクセスしようにも、このURLが存在しません。
存在しないURLを伝えてくるなんてなんて適当な仕事ぶりなんだ・・・
そこで、次のように返信しました。
Thank you for your soon reply, but I cannot have an access to the “iTunesConnect.com.”
I think the URL is wrong.
同時に、iTunes Connectの「お問い合わせ」から問い合わせることも思いつき、次のように問い合わせました。
「次のようなメールを送りました。
I submitted my bank account and other information to iTunes Connect. but I still cannot sign in iTunes Producer. I’d like you to tell me what I should do to publish my e-books. I look forward to your reply.
すると、このような返信がありました。
Hello, Please submit your request through the “Contact Us” module on iTunesConnect.com.Best, The iTunes Store Legal Team
しかし、iTunesConnect.comは存在しないURLのようです。この件について、どうすればいいかご教授下さい。」
さて、The iTunes Store Legal Teamからは音沙汰なし。
なんて適当な仕事ぶりなんだ・・・
しかし、iTunes Connectの「お問い合わせ」から次のような回答がありました。
iBooks Publisher Support にお問い合わせ頂き、ありがとうございます。
この度、〇〇様より iTunes Producer にログインができないとのお問い合わせを承りました。iTunes Producer を使用することができず、お困りのこととお察しします。
iTunes Producer にログインする際、ログインに使用する Apple ID に２ファクタ認証または２ステップ確認が有効となっている場合、App 用パスワードが必要となります。詳細については、以下のサイトをご参照ください。

引き続きログインできない場合は、お手数ですが以下の情報をお知らせください。
・問題の再現手順
・ エラーが発生したおおよその日時 (タイムゾーンも記載)

・以前は問題なくサインインができていたか否か

早速、APP用パスワードを作り、iTunes ProducerにApple IDとAPP用パスワードでサインインしてみると、無事サインインができました。
iTunes Producerからすぐに電子書籍を出版してみましたが、審査が入るようです。
すぐにはiBooks Storeには出てきません。
さて、２日ほどたって、次のようなメールが来て、iBooks Storeから出版されました。
Dear 〇〇,
Your book 〇〇 (AppleID: 〇〇) is now available on Apple Books.
